REES Merfyn Linda, Aled and Aron wish to sincerely thank family, friends and neighbours for the overwhelming kindness and support shown to them in their sad and sudden loss of Merfyn. They are extremely humbled by the many expressions of sympathy and affection which has brought much comfort. Many thanks for the large attendance at the funeral and the generous donations received for Wales Air Ambulance, British Heart Foundation and Caersws Presbyterian Church, which amounted to £6,025. Special thanks to Rev. Monica O'Dea and Rev. Jenny Garrard for the touching service, Elen Rhys for the heartfelt tribute, Catrin Alwen for the lovely organ playing, Gemma Jones for the beautiful tea and to everyone who kindly contributed to the day. Grateful thanks also to Richard Parkes and staff at Leach & Son for the sensitive handling of the funeral arrangements.
