This picture, which was taken in 1971, was brought in by Philip and Doreen Haynes.
It features Doreen (checking the 'patient's' pulse), during a training session for members of Newtown St John Ambulance Brigade.
She had just been made the unit's nursing officer and still remembers all of the people in the photograph, which included the brigade's superintendent, Mrs B. Davies and its secretary, Mrs W. Cound.
They were inspired to bring it in after visiting the Newtown division of the St John Ambulance, which is this year marking its 100th anniversary, and viewing a number of old photographs there.
