This picture sent in by Brenda Humphreys, from Stepaside, is of Newtown Board School, from around 1931.
It includes her late father-in-law, Norman Humphreys (back row, third left), of Plantation Farm who went on to work for Pryce-Jones' as a carpet fitter and became known as 'Norman the Carpets'.
Also in the picture (front row, fourth right), is Frank 'Dixie' Griffiths, then aged 10, who went on to play football for Everton in the English First Division in 1939/40.
