BY the time this edition of hits the shelves it will be July.
The seventh month of the year already and it hardly seems like yesterday we were all feasting on our Christmas meals.
However time has a way of passing by when you are busy or distracted.
Certainly this summer we have had more to distract us than last when we were effectively told to remain indoors as the country grappled with the pandemic.
It meant every second outside became precious.
Even now some people are only starting to venture far from their doors again.
It will take a long time for the scars of the pandemic and lockdown to ever heal and we can only hope we do not have to live under restrictions too much longer.
For those who feel despondent at the current state of the country then the best thing to know is we are one day closer to the end of the pandemic than yesterday.
Solace and comfort come in many forms.
For some an afternoon down the pub offers respite, for others a day in the hills will sooth all that life can throw at them.
For others the companionship of family or beloved pet can mean the difference between a good and bad day.
These are the little things and it is the little things that make up life and make the bad days worth enduring.
So wherever you find your solace make sure you enjoy it.
