The annual plant sale in Bishop's Castle raised more than a £1,000 for SpArc in April.
It will go towards a funding pot which is intended to improve swimming facilities run by the charity in the Powys border town.
Jean Shirley, Chair of Trustees, highlighted the significance of the event, as she said: "Our annual plant stall is now a regular fixture in the Bishop’s Castle calendar and this year it was more important – and more of a scrum - than ever as we strive to reach our £250k goal to improve the swimming pool".
The sale on Saturday, April 20 was held outside Wrights Army Surplus shop and featured a diverse range of plants donated by supporters of SpArC.
This year's selection included vegetable and tomato plants, herbs, shrubs, perennials, rockery plants, house plants and a number of Bonsai sold by Matt from Wrights Army Surplus.
Secretary and Trustee Ruth Houghton commended the community for their continued support as she said: "We are continually grateful for the support of our local community.
"It was a very good sale and huge thanks go to everyone involved – buyers, sellers, growers, helpers - it all makes such a difference".
While Ms Shirley expressed delight at reaching the halfway point to their goal as she said: "To raise over a £1000 is a fantastic achievement.
"It makes all the hard work worthwhile."
The next fundraising event for the swimming pool will be a coffee morning on Thursday, May 18, hosted by Abbeyfield, featuring stalls with books, bric a brac, and more plants.
