FIREFIGHTERS from Presteigne and Kington joined crews from three other stations to battle a huge barn fire on the Wales/England border last weekend.
Mid & West Wales Fire and Rescue Service joined colleagues from Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service to tackle the huge blaze on Sunday night, March 13.
“Crews from Kington, Presteigne, Leintwardine, Leominster and Kingsland worked hard last night at a barn fire on the England/Wales border, once again working with our MAWWFRS colleagues,” said a Kington Fire Station spokesperson, with the station posting some dramatic pictures on its Facebook page.
“And for everyone involved it's back to the ‘day job’ this morning as usual.”
