A TRACTOR was destroyed after it was involved in a fire near Welshpool on Monday (March 7) afternoon.
The incident on Middletown Residential Park, just off the A458 between Welshpool and Shrewsbury, happened at around 5.20pm.
A nearby vehicle was also damaged.
Firefighters from Mid and West Wales Fire Service were supported by colleagues from Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service in Minsterley to bring the fire under control.
A spokesperson for SFRS said: "This incident was over the border support for Mid and West Wales Fire Service.
"One tractor fire fully involved in fire and damage to one vehicle nearby."
The fire was brought under control by 6.16pm.

Meanwhile, a tree caught fire in a garden in Montgomery Road in Bishops Castle on Monday lunchtime.
The incident was classed as a fire in the open and happened just after 12.30pm.
One crew from Bishops Castle attended and used a jet, ladder and thermal imaging camera to put out the fire.
