BISHOPS Castle Town’s Mitsubishi Division Two title celebrations were put on ice after Llangedwyn hit back to claim a point in a 3-3 draw at the Manor Ground.

Martyn Ziemann struck twice for Castle with Niall Thomas completing their tally but inform Llangedwyn were not to be denied as a Dean Jones double and James Broadbent goal earned a deserved point.

Meanwhile Maesyrhandir ended their season on a high with a thrilling 4-3 win at home to Trefonen.

Bob Rogers starred with a brace for the Purples while Lewis Varley and Jack Carroll goals clinched the spoils as an Andy Garmston double and Tom Rogers strike kept Trefonen in contention.

Honours ended even in a 1-1 draw at Ty Brith as a Chris Jones goal earned Carno Reserves a point against a visiting Abermule Reserves who struck through Jodeci Dean.

Meanwhile Kerry Reserves celebrated an emphatic 10-0 drubbing of Llanfechain with Huw Roberts and Ryan Andrew sharing the limelight with hat-tricks.

Ryan Gardner, Ben Davies, Ryan Groves and Luke Mumford goals completed the Lambs rout.

Waterloo Rovers went top of the Honda Division One table with a 3-1 derby win at home to Guilsfield Reserves who continue to languish in the relegation zone.

Scott Holley led Rovers to victory with a brace while Chris Hughes completed their tally while Jon Gamble kept the Guils in contention.

Elsewhere Mike Edwards was the derby hero as his hat-trick earned Llanymynech the spoils in a 3-2 win at Morda United who replied through Jamie Evans and Liam Edwards.
