LLANFAIR United slipped to the bottom of the Huws Gray Alliance following a 1-0 defeat at previous incumbents Conwy Borough On Wednesday night.

Alan Titchener's 10th minute strike for the hosts proved crucial and despite a spell of late pressure from the Mid Wales side, Borough held out to claim a potentially cruncial victory.

The result now adds further importance to the weekend trip to Ruthin Town as United seek to revive their season and climb out of the bottom four.
