SION Jones is to step down as manager of Machynlleth at the end of the season.

Jones took on the role from Will Lloyd-Williams and during a four year tenure helped consolidate the club in Spar Mid Wales League One.

A club statement read: "Sion is stepping down as manager of the first team at end of this season.

"He's been in charge for four seasons and it's now time for someone else to take the team forward.

"He's guided mach fc back to the mid wales league and has full enjoyed his time as manager.

"If anyone is interested in the opportunity to be Machynlleth Football Club's next manager please get in contact with the club."
