BEN Lewis completed a hat-trick as Bont went 10 points clear at the top of the first division  with a 4-1 win at home to Aberystwyth University Reserves.

Andrew Gilbert also struck for the Bridgmen with George Taylor reducing the arrears for the Students.

Bont’s title looks all sewn up following Llanilar’s 3-2 win at Bow Street Reserves which effectively ended the Magpies faint hopes.

Goals from Ryan Edwards, Guto Roberts and Ryan Hopkins won the day for Llanilar with Street staying in contention throughout thanks to Guto Havard and an own goal.

Matthew Parry struck twice as Padarn United won 5-1 at Borth United Reserves with Paul James, Graham Thomas and Jason Davies completed the tally.

Elsewhere honours ended even at Penrhyncoch Reserves with goals from Matty Lewis and Matthew Merry cancelling strikes from Dion Kohler and Richie Winchurch in a 2-2 draw at Machynlleth Reserves.
