PENRHYNCOCH breathed new fire into their Huws Gray Alliance survival bid with a 3-0 victory at nine man Caersws on Tuesday.

The Bluebirds miserable evening was compounded by dismissals for striker Will Thomas and defender Paul Grant.

The Rooster led through debutant Elwyn Thomas ton 35 minutes to leave Caersws chasing the game with Thomas being joined by Sean Evans, Elliot Jones and Mike Collister in spurning chances.

Penrhyn sealed three points with two goals in the final 10 minutes as Dafydd Carruthers and Jonny Evans struck to boost their side’s survival aspirations.
