Firefighters have tackled a grass fire near Trewern on one of the hottest days of the year.
Crews from Welshpool Fire Station were sent to a fire near Criggion.
The incident happened near Rodney's Pillar on the Breidden Hill shortly before mid-day on Wednesday, June 27.
The grass fire was put out by 1.15pm.
Rodney's Pillar on Breidden Hill is a picturesque area overlooking Shropshire and Wales which is popular with walkers.
A Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "On Wednesday, 27/06/2018 at 11:52am, crews from Welshpool attended a grass fire near Criggion.
"Firefighters extinguished the fire using a hose reel jet and two hose reels before leaving the incident at 01:15pm"

Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue crews have been battling a large grass fire near Aberystwyth following the hottest day of the year so far.
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service have requested the Army's help to fight fires on moorlands in Tameside.
