FIREFIGHTERS from Llanfyllin and Welshpool were called to a tractor fire in Pontrobert near Meifod today (Wednesday February 7).
Crews found the fire had severely damaged a tractor and had spread to approximately fifty hay bales.
Spokesman for the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service (MAWW) said: “Two hose reel jets, three breathing apparatus, a thermal imaging camera and pitch forks were used to extinguish the fire.”
The crews left the incident at 12.07pm.
